In front of the historic Maryborough courthouse, there is a plaque for P L Travers in the pavement, along with plaques for other Maryborough notables.
Information about the life of Pamela Lyndon Travers is on display at the Portside Centre in the Customs House, which was built in 1900. If you walk from the Mary Poppins statue down Richmond Street towards the old river port, don’t miss stopping to look at the row of metal columns with quotes from the Mary Poppins books.
