London – St Pancras Station – Douglas Adams

Published in 1988, The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul is the second of the humorous Dirk Gently detective novels, written by Douglas Adams.

St Pancras station appears in the book as the location for where the gods of Valhalla live in a parallel universe, existing now only as destitute vagrants. When the once powerful Nordic super heroes, Odin and his son Thor encounter the zany Dirk Gently, crazy things happen.
